After serving Interfaith couples, Jews, and their families for almost 20 years in Boston, MA, I have moved with my Partner C. Andrew Martin and our 2 Boston Terriers (now ‘Austin Terriers’) to Austin, TX. I continue to serve as the Director of the Resource Center for Jewish Clergy at www.Interfaithfamily.com. It’s great to have an online resource that offers important and meaningful support for interfaith families. I also continue traveling the world officiating life cycle events for Interfaith and Jewish couples and families, and can be found teaching courses on Jewish living and life cycles, and facilitating workshops on ‘Inclusion and Welcoming’ of unaffiliated Jews and interfaith families in Jewish life and community.
I was ordained as a rabbi in the Reform Movement of Judaism in 1994 at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, OH, hold a JD (law degree) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in NYC, NY, and a BA in Psychology from Clark University in Worcester, MA. I have recently added RN (Registered Nurse) to my spiritual and practical work in the world after graduating Regis College-Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s nursing program in Medford, MA in May, 2013. Along with serving the Jewish community and Interfaith families, I am also working as a nurse at the University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin, TX.
